This year the silent action is going old school. Bidding is open to an array of fabulous prizes including a trip to Montana to a Stock your Bar Basket to caps with the area’s besst hunts or a day with the Ashland Bassets: A Virginia Tradition. So come down to the show to cheer on the riders, enjoy our warm hospitality and bid high. The auction will close at 7:30 pm on Sunday, September 6th.

Jill Wilson won the style of riding award for the Warrenton Horse Show 2’9” Derby last night. Well done Jill!

Warrenton Horse Show Association is known for its hospitality. Tracy Mullen and Richard Gargagliano, pictured, along with Joan Hedgecock and Laura and Luke Bartee were awesome hosts of the Mexican Fiesta party yesterday during our WHS Derbies! Gracias Team!

Today was the inaugural William Graves Memorial TB Derby. With thirty entries in the class, it was Pam Vance’s Whiskey Tango Foxtrot for the win. In the irons was Christine Fiore who also won the Style of Riding Award. Congratulations to all, it was a real thrill to watch everyone tackle the beautiful course.

Good morning! And its a beautiful blue bird sky day.

We wanted to thank everybody for your patience and understanding last night when the lights went out. Certainly, it was disappointing and surprising for all of us.

As we want to keep you informed, we suspect last night's outage was a power supply disruption caused by factors outside our control. Our team is working directly with the provider to address it, and we've already deployed backup generators to ensure everything continues running smoothly through the weekend.

Meanwhile, let’s continue to have a great time—and celebrate all of us being together with our wonderful horses and friends!

“This evening, our show was unfortunately interrupted due to a power failure. We are actively working to ensure the issue is resolved.

We value our exhibitors, spectators, friends, and sponsors and appreciate your continued support of the horse show. We understand the inconvenience, and therefore will not be charging an entry fee for the William Graves Memorial Thoroughbred Derby.

Tomorrow (9/4) we will finish the Take2 Thoroughbred division starting at 8am, followed by the William Graves Memorial Thoroughbred Derby.

Thank you for your understanding and patience. We are looking forward to having an amazing derby tomorrow. See you ringside at 8am.“
