What a treat it was to have the gym packed with alumni for last night's Wall of Fame celebration. Here's a photo with as many alums as Coach Leake could corral after the varsity boys' big win over St. Anne's Belfield.

Congratulations to this year's class of eleven Wall of Fame honorees, thanks to all the alumni who attended the event, and GO HAWKS!

Thank you to Hunter Hearsey '23 for helping Highland Key Club members transport items from our Hurricane Helene relief drive last week!

Thank you, Highland Community, for your absolutely amazing display of generosity, service, and global perspective this past week. We were astonished by each division's quick and supportive response to the drive for those affected by Hurricane Helene.

Key Club members Rowan ‘28, Izzie '27, and Taylor ‘26 helped deliver three vehicles worth of donations to the drop-off spot this weekend. They were joined by Hunter Hearsey ‘23 who has been home since evacuating Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL, attending school online until she can return for in-person classes.

Key Club is also using proceeds from their Monday lunch fundraiser to make donations to organizations providing relief throughout the region impacted by Helene. Many, many thanks to all who donated so generously!

Congratulations to Addie (Norden) Santana '18 on starting her Med School journey at West Virginia University School of Medicine this year. Addie graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry last year and began her classes at WVU a few months ago in July. Fun fact: Addie started out as an EMT with the Warrenton Volunteer Fire Company before she was even a Highland graduate!

See any familiar faces in her photos? Her dad, David Norden, is an 8th grade Highland alum from the Class of 1974, and her mother, Renee Norden, was a long-time college counselor here. Once a Hawk, always a Hawk! Congratulations again, Addie!💙💛
