🎉 Wrapping Up Catholic Schools Week! 🙌📚

What an amazing end to Catholic Schools Week! 🌟 This morning, we celebrated our Students of the Month, followed by an exciting Religion Bee where students showed off their faith knowledge! ✝️👏

Our preschoolers also had a successful "Souper Bowl" food drive for St. Vincent de Paul, reminding us all of the importance of service. 🥫❤️

Catholic Schools Week: Book Characters, Crazy Hair, and Community! 📚🎉

Today, Saint John the Evangelist was full of creativity and fun as we celebrated Book Character Day! 📚

From Harry Potter to Anne of Green Gables, our students brought their favorite stories to life—you were really lucky if you managed to spot Waldo! 👀

Our preschoolers added a twist with Crazy Hair Crazy Wear Day, showing off some wild and wacky hairstyles and outfits that matched their big personalities. 🎉They also enjoyed a visit from our third graders, who read stories to them.

Meanwhile, the elementary students enjoyed a visit from local author Mrs. Norma Thatcher, who read one of her books and shared the inspiration behind her writing.

🙏This morning, we also took a moment to thank our amazing volunteers with a special reception—our school community is stronger because of you! 💙

⭐Don’t forget, preschool families: Keep bringing in your food pantry donations for the annual "Souper Bowl" drive. Let’s make a big difference together! 🍲

It was a busy day for our students as we continue to celebrate Catholic Schools Week.

Today was filled with faith, service, and celebration:

❤️🤍💙 Celebrate the Nation: Students showed their patriotic pride by wearing red, white, and blue to honor our country.

🙏 Morning Rosary: The NJHS led us in the Rosary to pray for our first responders, military personnel, police, and firefighters while our preschoolers made beautiful Rosary ribbons to show their gratitude.

🎶 Music in Faith: The school choir led us in a heartfelt rendition of "Immaculate Mary."

🧪 Mad Science Visit: Students had a blast with an interactive visit from Mad Science, Things That Go Boom!

🍲 Preschool "Souper Bowl": Our preschoolers are gearing up for their annual "Souper Bowl" food drive to support the local food pantry. Let’s cheer them on as they collect donations to help those in need!

We invited all students to proudly wear their dress uniforms to Mass this weekend as a visible sign of our Catholic school community. Student representatives were honored to bring up the gifts and speak at Mass.

We’re looking forward to an incredible Catholic Schools Week ahead! 🎉 This includes our much-anticipated Annual 24 Hours of Giving, which kicks off on Wednesday morning.

Gray skies didn't stop SJES 8th grade students from visiting the White House on Tuesday! Thank you to our field trip coordinators and chaperones!
