Shoutout to Ayrabella Cardec and Deputy First Class Gary Jenkins at Auburn Middle! When a student began choking, Ayrabella acted fast to get help, and Deputy Jenkins performed the Heimlich, saving a life. Heroes among us! ππ

π We Did It β What a Year! π
What an incredible school year itβs been! As we wrap up another amazing chapter, we want to send a huge congratulations to all of our students, staff, and families for making this year so special. Your hard work, kindness, and commitment made every day brighter.
A special shout-out goes to our fifth gradersβyouβve grown so much, and we couldnβt be prouder of the leaders youβve become. As you take this exciting next step into middle school, know that you carry with you all the memories, friendships, and lessons from your time here. Weβll miss you, but we canβt wait to see all the amazing things youβll do! (Farewell walk video in comments).
Wishing everyone a safe, fun, and restful summer break. Youβve earned it!
π See you next year!
Yesterday, our fifth graders got to see one of our very own Brumfield parents land a mede-vac helicopter. The students got to get up close and personal with fire engines, trucks, and the helicopter! Check it out!
Today, all students from House Olive got to have some extra recess time for having the most house points this quarter. It was such a blast!

This week during encore, students had a blast with some Cosmic Bowling fun!
Under the black lights, students rolled their way toward a glowing good time β and practiced their addition skills along the way. Each frame brought them closer to the final pin count needed to win a team prize!
Check out these glowing faces and stellar strikes β learning has never looked so bright!
What an incredible Field Day we had on Monday at Brumfield Elementary! The weather was absolutely perfect β blue skies, sunshine, and just the right breeze to keep everyone cool.
Our students had an amazing time rotating through fun and engaging activities, from yard games to obstacle courses, dunk tank, and more! Everywhere you looked, there were happy faces, lots of laughter, and endless energy.
A huge THANK YOU to our amazing staff (especially our LAMP team) and volunteers who helped make the day run so smoothly, and to our students for showing great teamwork and Brumfield spirit.
Also a huge huge thank you to FRESH - Fauquier Reaches for Excellence in School Health for allowing us to borrow their equipment.
This is what makes Brumfield such a special place to learn and grow.
Today was a full-circle moment! Our graduating seniors came back to Brumfield for their Senior Walkβa chance to stroll the halls where it all began. They reunited with the teachers who helped shape their journey and even got to enjoy one last recess on the playground where so many memories were made.
Once a Giraffe, always a Giraffe.
Our preschool class has been celebrating the countdown to summer break with a special letter each day! Today was all about the letter "N" for Nature! πΌ
They took a nature walk around our school and collected some beautiful treasuresβleaves, flowers, sticks, and more! Back in the classroom, the kids got creative, using cardboard and tape to craft their own nature frames. It was the perfect way to appreciate the beauty right outside our door!
Check out these amazing little artists connecting with nature!
