WECHS and WCHS Scholars Leading in Our Community!
Our scholars had the honor of participating in the Warren County NAACP Annual Freedom Fund Banquet on Saturday, centered around the theme, “United We Stand, Divided We Fall.”
We are especially proud of sophomore scholars Christian Kearney and Amaris Yancey, members of the Warren County NAACP Youth Council, who served as presiders for the evening! 👏🏾
🎶 Entertainment for the evening was provided by WECHS sophomore scholars La'Zariya Cooper-Marrow, Alyssa Jones, and Donyel Reid. We are so proud of them for sharing their talents and helping make the evening even more special!
What an incredible opportunity for these young leaders to stand alongside giants in our community, including Mrs. Eva Clayton, Congressman Don Davis, and Mrs. Dollie Burwell—leaders whose service, courage, and commitment have helped shape our community and beyond.
These are the experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom and allow our scholars to witness leadership, service, and history firsthand.
An evening of legacy. An evening of leadership. An experience they will never forget. 💙💚
A very special thank you to Mrs. Lisa Bender and Mr. Juan Moguel for their continued support, leadership, and commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for our scholars.
We are proud of our scholars for representing Warren County’s young people so well!
