Meet your officer: Public Relations Mai Fukue
Yes, it’s me! I have been PR since last year, so I’m skipping the “what brought me into AT profession” part. I enjoyed all clinical settings for these 4 years, but I especially loved the PT clinic as I was able to work on hands-on stuff more. I also found myself enjoying how the day flows with the patients for set time at the clinic. As most of our officers said, it is an awesome moment for me to see the athletes/patients whom I work with are able to return to their practice, work, or sometimes even the normal daily lives.
In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, reading books, drinking with my friends, sleeping, and eating. I also love playing basketball even though I am not athletic enough anymore and sprain my ankle ery easily…
I am still not sure my career path after graduation, but I am willing to work with basketball at any level in the long run.
Lastly, thank you everyone for your support throughout this year. Thank you for following this account, liking and sharing the posts. I really appreciate all of your support. I still have some stuff to post here, so please bear with me 🙂
Hopefully, this account will be kept after our graduation so that everyone can see the updates about UCM AT program and Atheltic Training Student Association. Thank you again, every one! I hope you all have a great rest of your day today. Good luck with finals if you are college students. Stay warm and safe in this crazy Missouri weather.
