No classes on October 8th - 9th, and offices will be closed on the 9th. But don’t worry: Our residence halls will remain open during the break with no sign up required! Apartment residents can also come and go as they please throughout all breaks.

Note the changes for dining hours during break:
Todd Dining will be open for Fall break.
Wednesday Oct. 7th : Ellis will close at 1:30pm and Todd will close at 7:00pm.
Thursday, Oct. 8th- Sunday October 11th: Todd will serve brunch 10am-2pm and dinner 4:30pm-7:00pm.
Sunday Oct.11th: Ellis will reopen for dinner 4:30pm-7:00pm.

Exciting news! The 2027-2028 residence hall agreement is now live! If you’re an admitted incoming student, you can now submit your housing agreement to secure your place in the assignment process for next year. The earlier you submit, the better your chances of securing your top preferences, such as learning communities, specific buildings, or single rooms. Current students planning to live on campus next year can also submit now to get in line for room selection in February. Check something off
your to-do list and submit your agreement in the MyHousing Portal ASAP!

Last weekend, University Housing had the honor to award the 2026 Family & Supporters of the Year. This year’s recipient was Joel Long’s family. Joel is a first-year student at UCM studying Education. Joel spoke very highly of his family and of how they chose him over and over again. Having a support system is so very important, and we were excited to award Joel’s family this year.

The deadline to nominate your Family & Supporter of the Year is almost here!

Who has helped you get where you are today? Tell us about the family members or supporters who have encouraged you, supported you, and helped you succeed at UCM.

Submit either a 2–5 minute video or a 500-word written essay sharing what your family or supporter means to you and why they deserve to be recognized as this year’s Family & Supporter of the Year.

The winning family will be recognized during the Family Weekend football game on September 12 and will receive:

A $150 UCM Store gift card
Family Weekend T-shirts
Free reserved seats for the football game
Submissions are due August 28, so don’t wait!
