Please welcome our Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Technology and Commercial Music: Dr. David Gedosh!

Guitarist, audio engineer, and award-winning composer of electroacoustic music, and a teacher who has spent more than twenty years helping students turn technical skill into creative work. A Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of North Texas, he has performed for three decades across rock, progressive rock, and experimental art music. His compositions have been presented at festivals throughout North America, Europe, and Latin America, earning honors from Ars Electronica, ASCAP, and Bourges IMEB. And his research asks a deceptively simple question: how can sound itself tell a story? His work draws together phenomenology, acousmatic theory, psychoanalysis, and neurobiology…and the history of rock production.
