Let’s goooooooo!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Have a great year Coach Blackmon!!!

We are welcoming our new educators to the GV crew! Today, we are highlighting Miss Alexandria Blackmon, who will be joining Grain Valley High School as a physical education teacher.

"I am excited to build connections and leave a lasting impact on the students who cross my path. I love teaching students how to be active and find joy in movement. I take pride in providing a safe space for all students to learn and grow into the best version of themselves."

Welcome to GV, Alexandria! 🦅👏🏼🥳

Have a great year Mr. Hernandez!!!

🏀 Meet Mr. Hernandez — our new Social Studies Teacher at JBMS! 🏀

We’re excited to welcome Mr. Hernandez to the Warsaw R-IX faculty! He graduated from the University of Central Missouri after previously attending Oak Grove High School. As a first-year teacher, he gained experience through practicums across K-12 grade levels as well as student teaching at both the secondary and elementary levels.

In addition to teaching, Mr. Hernandez will serve as an Assistant High School Boys Basketball Coach. He is a big sports fan who enjoys baseball, basketball, football, and recently started playing golf. He also enjoys working out, relaxing, and spending time with family and friends. 🏀⚾️🏈

Mr. Hernandez is excited to begin his teaching career in Warsaw after hearing great things about the district from former teachers who have worked here. He looks forward to meeting new people, building connections, and helping students learn and become excited about learning.

Welcome to Warsaw, Mr. Hernandez! We’re excited to have you as part of the Wildcat Family! 🐾
