Other helpful info we found at Powell Botanical Gardens yesterday was how to create our very own butterfly garden. Ideally you want to have about a 3’ x 6’ area to work with but you can also plant native plants in large containers for rental properties.

Powell Botanical Gardens tells us the top five host and nectar plants if you want to help cultivate your local butterfly populations. Also remember to always plants native (to your area) plants and not just ones that looks pretty! 🦋🌼
