Building the Future of Rural Medicine

We’re excited to share continued momentum at Western Reserve Health Education, Inc. (WRHE)!

Over the past several weeks, we had the pleasure of interviewing outstanding candidates for our new ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Rural Track Residency Program and recently welcomed prospective residents to Sharon, PA for on-site visits and program tours.

Candidates had the opportunity to visit Sharon Regional Health System, explore our educational and simulation learning spaces, and experience the supportive community environment that makes our program unique. It has been inspiring to meet future physicians who are passionate about rural medicine and committed to serving community healthcare needs.

We are excited about the growth of our residency program and look forward to what the future holds for graduate medical education at WRHE and throughout our region.
