We especially invite families with children eligible for PreK! Through Michigan’s GSRP/PreK for All program, children receive:

✅ FREE full-day PreK
✅ 5 days a week and 8 hours a day
✅ Learning through play
✅ Caring, certified teachers
✅ Breakfast and lunch
✅ A safe and joyful learning environment

Children who turn 4 by December 1, 2026, may be eligible. Openings are available now, but they may fill quickly!

Our Kindergarten through fifth-grade classes are currently full, with the exception of a few remaining openings in 3rd grade.

🔬🌱🤖 WELCOME TO THE CURIOUS COUGARS LAB! 🤖🌱🔬

A long-awaited vision has finally come to life at MMSA Lorraine!

Thanks to a generous $30,000 "Impact 30" Grant from the Grand Valley State University, our science lab - originally built in the 1970s - has been completely transformed into the new Curious Cougars Lab! 🐾🧪

Our newly renovated, technology-rich lab is now ready to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, inventors, and problem-solvers. Students will have access to:

🔬 Advanced microscopes that project tiny organisms and specimens onto a large screen for the entire class to explore
🖨️ 3D printers that will help students turn their ideas and designs into real creations
📱 Smart technology connected through a central hub, allowing students to monitor and control equipment through an app
☀️ Solar panels and solar-powered generators that can keep essential equipment running during a power outage
🤖 A robotics competition table where students can design, build, test, and improve their robots for Sumo Robot and Line Follower competitions through Concept Schools

The Impact 30 Grant also allowed us to build a brand-new greenhouse, where our Curious Cougars will receive hands-on learning experiences with plants, ecosystems, sustainability, and the life cycle. 🌱🌻

This is more than a renovated science lab. It is a place where curiosity will grow, questions will lead to discoveries, mistakes will become learning opportunities, and young minds will prepare to solve the challenges of tomorrow.

We are incredibly grateful to the Grand Valley State University for believing in our vision and providing both the financial and academic support needed to bring it to life. Your investment will make a lasting impact on our students for many years to come!

🌀✨ A Mind-Bending Adventure in Detroit! ✨🌀

Our students had an amazing time at the Museum of Illusions Detroit today! From fascinating optical illusions to fun, hands-on experiences, there were smiles, laughter, and plenty of “How did that happen?” moments. 🤯📸

The kids loved every minute of this unforgettable field trip!

A huge thank-you to DiscoverWorks and United Way for Southeastern Michigan for creating summer wonders and giving our students opportunities to learn, explore, and make wonderful memories! 💚💙

🎉 Celebrating 10 Years of Dedication! 🎉

Congratulations to Mrs. Jacklyn Phillips and Mr. Timothy Osebold on reaching an incredible milestone - 10 years of service within the MMSA District and the Concept Schools network!

For a decade, they have worked tirelessly to support our students and families, strengthen our school community, and positively change the lives of countless children. We are truly grateful for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to helping every student succeed. 💙🧡
