Everyday Heroes of Michigan

Everyday Heroes of Michigan Providing and advocating for fair treatment and opportunities for people with special needs.

We are a work/life program that teaches job skills and enhances the social life of our participants. The Everyday Heroes are a group of people with super spirits and special needs. Kati Duty, the founder, started this organization in honor of her brother Mike and best friend Elyse; the original Heroes! They have inspired her to offer more to them than is being offered now. With public school stopp

ing at age 26, she wanted a better opportunity for them. With this in mind she developed a work environment program for adults with special needs that educates on daily living, job skills, social skills and independence. The Everyday Heroes of Michigan also provides outings into the community and age appropriate experiences. Most importantly, they continue to education to the special needs community after High School and/or continuing education centers that are part of the school systems. The Everyday Heroes of Michigan are currently in the process of becoming a registered Non-Profit Organization with tax exemption.
