We appreciate our partnership with them and their yearly contribution to keeping WAEC looking great! 🏫

Fun fact: every year the PTO purchases fresh woodchips for both playgrounds, this is just one of the many things we fundraise for throughout the year! 😊

We would like to introduce you to the 2026-2027 WAEC PTO BOARD!! 🎊

Next up, our Grade Parent Reps!

πŸ’™ Our Grade Parent Reps are a huge part of the PTO Board! They are voting members, offer insight and suggestions during meetings, volunteer at our events and activities throughout the school year, and ensure every grade is well represented.
🀍 Grade Parent Reps all become approved building volunteers, and help out as much or as little as their schedules allow.

We are looking forward to another great school year!! 🏫 🍎 🚌

Registration is now open for the 21st Century After school program. The program's start date is September 8th. The program will be held Monday - Friday from 3:15 - 5:15. Complete the online form and someone will contact you with further information.

πŸ’We are so thankful for the added time, dedication, and volunteer hours many of the wonderful WAEC teachers/staff give each and every year at ALL of our events/activities both during and after school hours! 🎊

Fundriaser Chair: Caitie Maze
Yearbook Chair: Whitney Trubic
Bookfair Chair: Kate Gilmore
Snack Liason: Kassie Damcott

πŸ”΅ The Event Chairs are responsible for planning and organizing all our events throughout the year including: Trail of Treats, Winter Fest, Spring Fling, etc.
〰️ Reach out to Cate or Brittany if you are interested in volunteering at one of our events!
πŸ”΅ The Fundraising Chair is responsible for organizing and executing our yearly fundriasers including: candle sales, santa store, broom sales, etc.
〰️ Reach out to Caitie if you are interested in helping with one of our fundraisers!
πŸ”΅ The Yearbook Chair does all things yearbook. She collects the pictures throughout the year, manages the cover art contest, designs the yearbook layout, and submits everything to the company for printing.
〰️ school-related pictures can be submitted to the WAEC yearbook email throughout the school year.
πŸ”΅ The Bookfair Chair organizes and executes the fall and spring bookfairs. She works with the Scholastic Book company, enlists volunteer coverage, coordinates schedules with the school, and ensures the bookfairs run smoothly. She also coordinates the purchase of the free books for all students.

πŸ”΅ The Snack Liason is a very special and essential role on the PTO. She keeps the teacher lounge snacks/coffee/sodas stocked and keeps are teachers happy!
〰️ Reach out to Kassie if you would like to donate items for the teachers lounge.
πŸ”΅ The Social Media Chair is responsible for getting information about the PTO out on social media. She posts about our events, volunteer opportunities, donation requests, meeting times, etc.
〰️ Fun fact she oversees 3 different PTO related FB pages!

Treasurer: Jennie Miller

These ladies are responsible for keeping the PTO running smoothly, organizing and coordinating all thing PTO, communicating information, and collaborating closely with the school. Thank you ladies for your time and dedication! We are looking forward to another great school year!!

Through our partnership with Amazon we were awarded 60 back to school backpacks and back to school supplies to donate to WAEC!

We are grateful for Amazon’s donation and to WAEC for distributing these to any kids that need them!
