While we had a lot of people sharing this post, no one as of yet has stepped forward to head the program. We wanted to share again as we need someone in place by the first of the year. If you have a child that is interested in playing lacrosse at KMS, please consider reaching out. At this time, we will not be able to host the program without 1-3 people stepping forward to help facilitate. Thank you in advance.

The program facilitator assists the coaches with scheduling, communication, equipment, transportation and finances. They work with the district AD, KMS admin and the middle school lax league. Good Afternoon KMS LAX families,

Bristol Warren is very lucky to be able to offer this program to our students. There are very few middle schools in the state of RI that have Lacrosse as a Spring sport. This program has proven to be a great feeder program for our high school teams and offers students an additional option on top of Baseball, Softball, and Track & Field. When originally founded we had a committee of parents with children involved in the program to organize and run KMS LAX. Over the course of time these families have graduated out of our program. We NEED some new blood!!
Hundreds of Student Athletes have come through this program!!

The 2020 season will be here before you know it and this job is to big for one person.

NEEDED: A committee of Parents to help with running the program - President, Vice president, Treasurer, secretary, player agent, team parents, and additional positions.

WHY: This is a club sport and not an interscholastic league sport. The athletic department helps out with scheduling transportation, hiring coaches, and lining the fields but the KMS LAX committee is responsible for uniforms, scheduling referees, fees, creating the game schedule, players fees, and other related responsibilities.

TIME: In order for us to have a 2020 season we will need parents actively involved. Many times parents do not have the additional time to dedicate but with out active parents, the program will be in jeopardy.
