Kennedy Football opened the 2026 season tonight against Garrettsville Garfield. The Eagles battled hard from start to finish but came up just short, 37-28.

Tonight was the first chapter, and our Eagles showed plenty of heart, toughness, and fight to build on as the season moves forward. GO EAGLES!

Great First Day Energy for the Middle School and Lower Campus! So happy to have our Eagles back on campus! Even with a little rain, lots of smiles all around!

High School only tomorrow (Friday, 8/21/26) on the Upper Campus for Convocation and the first day of classes!

2026-2027 is going to be amazing!

Sports Round Up for Wednesday, August 19, 2026:
-Boys Soccer kept up their winning ways (2-0) with a solid 5-0 victory over Bristol on the road.
-Girls Tennis improved to 4-2 on the season with a commanding victory over Austintown Fitch 5-0. Singles winners Sweeney, Economos, Vescera. Doubles winners Natale/Natale and Niemi/Anderson.
-Girls Volleyball dropped their first contest of the season at Mineral Ridge, 3-1.
-Boys Golf lost a tough one to Lake Center 208-183.

Boys Golf, Junior High Girls Volleyball, and Varsity Football are all in action Thursday.

Sports Round Up for Tuesday, August 18, 2026:
-Girls Volleyball made it two in a row with a 3-1 victory over McDonald, staying perfect for the season.
-Junior High Football finished with a 16-16 tie against the Youngstown Saints on Napolet Field.
-Girls Tennis took down Southeast 4-1 with singles winners in Sweeney and Economos, paired with doubles winners Natale/Natale and Anderson/Pappada.

Sports Round Up for Monday, August 17, 2026:
-Girls Volleyball won in straight sets to open the season against Bristol.
-Warren JFK Girls Soccer faced a tough Gilmour Academy team on the road, falling 10-3.
-Warren JFK Boys Soccer took command early and never looked back at home, winning 2-1.

What a special group! We loved to opportunity to visit with the Class of 1966 and share the school with them as part of their reunion weekend. Thank you to the Reunion Committee for all of your hard work!

The Class of 1966 came home last weekend to celebrate their 60th Reunion. Festivities included a gathering at Candywood Winery, a school tour, Mass celebrated by Father Chris Cicero '01, a reunion dinner at Leo's.
