Sunshine, smiles, and lots of school spirit at Central Schools Field Day! ☀️

Attention! 📣 Our Essentials Drive is continuing through the end of the school year, and every school in the district is serving as a drop-off location. Donations of essential items help support local families and community members in need.

Throughout May, Warren Middle School recognized Mental Health Awareness Month with opportunities for students to learn about and support their mental wellness. Students heard from a young adult speaker from Minding Your Mind, who shared her personal journey navigating mental health challenges, and enjoyed a special visit from therapy animals from Creature Comfort!

In addition, students participated in activities focused on mindfulness, positive self-talk, and other wellness practices that promote healthy habits and emotional well-being.

Congratulations to Charlotte Yang from Mt. Horeb School for earning 2nd place in the Somerset County Conserve Wildlife Art and Essay Contest! 🎨

Each year, the 5th graders research endangered and threatened animals native to New Jersey during library class. Students who choose to create artwork have the opportunity to submit both their essays and artwork to this countywide contest.

There was no shortage of excitement at ALT's Field Day! 🏃 🏆

Field Day was a day to remember at Woodland School! ☀️ Students spent the day enjoying games, relays, teamwork challenges, and plenty of fun with friends.

🏆 Congratulations to the Warren Middle School Mock Trial Team!

A team of talented 8th-grade students earned 1st Place in the New Jersey State Bar Foundation’s Annual Law Adventure Contest! Competing against more than 84 submissions from across the state, our students’ case was selected as the top entry. Their winning case, Beverly and Theodore Ziety vs. Orange 12, Inc., explored a fictional legal dispute involving parents suing a social media platform for allegedly contributing to a teenager’s mental health disorder. The team had the opportunity to present their case before an audience of approximately 200 people at the New Jersey State Bar Foundation in New Brunswick, where they received high praise and commendations from the judges.
