Come join us for a fun night of baseball at Jimmy John’s Field. This is a Double Header, so you get two games with one ticket! Our Patriots will play the National Anthem for the second game, which should start around 7:30. Deadline to purchase tickets in Aug 13, so don’t wait, buy now!

The Cousino Marching Band has finished band camp! The Marching Patriots worked super hard this week to get their preview show on the field, and we are so excited for you to see what comes next!

This Wednesday, 7/30, the Cousino Marching Band will be participating in a parade for the opening of the new Fire Station #5! The parade takes place during our band camp, and what better way to learn how to march and play at the same time while supporting our community?

The parade will start at 10 AM at the old station on Hoover, then moves down Common, taking a left on Schoenherr and ending at the new station. Join us in celebrating!

Band camp week one has officially wrapped up! Though this week was 90°+, the Marching Patriots pushed through and had an awesome first week!

Patriots - it is my honor to introduce your new band director, Ms. Paige Grider!!!

Ms. Grider is going into her fourth year of teaching after three years with Birmingham Public Schools. She studied saxophone at Oakland University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Instrumental Music Education with a minor in Jazz Studies. During her time at OU, she traveled the nation with her saxophone quartet and explored a wide variety of genres.
While being Assistant Director at Seaholm High School in Birmingham, Ms. Grider led multiple ensembles including the Marching Band, an after school Jazz Band, and created a Rock Band curriculum to teach her students how to navigate the live music scene.

In her free time, Ms. Grider loves to sew, craft, play video games, Dungeons and Dragons, and attend the Renaissance Festival. At home, she loves to cook meals from scratch and hang out with her partner, Joey and their cat (that she found one year- at a band camp!).
Ms. Grider attended Anchor Bay High School where she had many opportunities including playing in the pep band. Pep band brought one of her fondest memories of marching band- playing at an away game at Cousino High School! She is infinitely excited to continue the great traditions of Cousino, Let's Go Patriots!
