There will NOT be a Voices choir rehearsal this evening, July 29th. We will resume next Tuesday and begin preparing for a number of nursing home visits that we are in the process of scheduling. I hope to have more information on this next week.

Hello Voices!

Just a quick email reminder that this evening is the final rehearsal for our Bent Run event this coming Sunday. Our performance time on Sunday will be at 1 pm. The Warren Music Conservatory Foundation is holding this fundraiser to support scholarships for the Music Conservatory, LLC and we really need a good turn out for this practice and performance.

Time: 7:30 pm tonight

We will be performing at least 4 songs on Sunday, including the Abba medley that Olena will be conducting. We will not have another event until the Christmas season, so I hope that you are able to be a part of this. If you have missed rehearsals, no worries, we will cover our list for Sunday tonight and it will be a blast!

Thank you for being a part of this vocal ensemble, as you are able.

On the 4th of July you are welcomed to walk the parade route with the Conservatory and some of the TMC label artists. Simply join us before the parade starts (at 11 a.m.) at our starting point on Linwood Street in Warren.

“I will be performing at Scandia’s summer music series tomorrow evening, the 13th at 6 pm. (Tomorrow’s location is at the pavilion of Scandia Church. ) Also Voices Choir and the Brass Ensemble will be at Joseph Warren Park at 11 am Saturday this week.” - Dr Dale Haight

Hello Voices!

Our next scheduled performance will be on Saturday, June 14th. We have been asked to be a part of the General Joseph Warren celebration at the park named for him. We will do the National Anthem and some of our patriotic music. It will be a brief ceremony brought by the Historical Society and is the first celebration of its kind to honor the city and county’s name sake.

We will continue to work on the Abba Medley and other songs for the July “Bent Run” showcase on July 6th.

We need your participation if at all possible, as our numbers need to grow. Please invite any singing friends that might be interested.

After careful consideration we have decided to stay closed for tonight, this Tuesday, April 29th. With the severe weather threat looming upon us we are concerned about the safety of our staff and students and think it is best for everyone if we do not have classes tonight. We will resume normal hours tomorrow, weather permitting. Be safe and stay close to shelter just in case things get rocky!

Dear Voices,

Our rehearsal tonight will be a 7:30 pm. I hope you will join us for our weekly rehearsals as we are practicing new and wonderful songs, including a medley of songs from ABBA.

As this is a community choir, we offer it free of charge to any in the community who would like to have an opportunity to come together and sing. You needn’t be a “pro” or even have the ability to read music. We will help you! We are excited to see people young and old(er) come together and enjoy this type of musical expression.

We receive several invitations to sing in the community each season. I am grateful for this, and am equally thankful for your participation. We know that all cannot get to every practice, but I would encourage you to get to as many as possible.

We hope to see you this evening from 7:30 to 8:15 as we lift our voices together!
