Hey , friends, and foodies!

If you’ve been with us through every evolution so far… congrats... you’ve unlocked the next one.
Total Evolution ➝ Evo ➝ life doing its thing ➝ and now… we’re evolving again. (Apparently, I don’t know how to stop feeding people. 💁‍♀️)

If you were part of the Evo Meal Plan days, you know those meals were never “just food.” They were made with genuine intention and a lot of care. It was heartbreaking when the Evo doors closed that last time.

For a long time, I held out hope that Evo would make a comeback. I explored every possible way to bring it back, realized it wasn't going to be possible, sat with the reality that it wasn’t happening, and made peace with it (after a whole lot of whining).
So when Sandra approached me with this new opportunity, providing the chance for me to still do the part I loved most? Yeah. Divine timing showed up loud and unannounced.

So here’s the exciting news: I, Lisa, have accepted the position of Kitchen Manager at Garden Grub and will be serving up some incredible meals.
This is me, doing what I love to do, and while this is not directly affiliated with Evo / Total Evolution, it will absolutely carry the same heart, passion, and spice behind it.

If you trusted me to feed you back then, know this:
As the founder, heart, and soul of Evo, I’m pouring that same passion into these meal plans... delicious, nourishing, real food that makes life easier. The structure, menus, and setup may look a little different… but the intention? Fully intact.

I’m also beyond excited to be working alongside Bee Courageous at Garden Grub because their missions are incredible and deeply aligned with the kind of work I want to be part of. Feeding people and purpose feels like a pretty solid combo.

Oh, hey there!

It's been a while - a LONG while - since we've shared anything here. At one point, we discussed completely closing down this page and chapter of our lives and business.

Last summer/fall, a dear friend approached us about catering a wedding. We accepted with excitement because it just sounded like it was completely up our alley.
However, as time went on and we drifted further from the cafe, we really questioned whether we made the right decision in taking on this job. But we chugged along, promising to make the most of it.

This past weekend, the wedding finally arrived, and we spent a full 3 days immersed in what would be one of the most epic catering gigs we have ever had. And we LOVED it.

We provided a fully customized menu, complete with multiple options for snacks and dinners for the reception/party. As this wedding was an outdoor event with many attendees camping overnight, we also arrived back at the site bright and early this morning to cook a breakfast menu complete with our *almost famous* Evo waffles. 🤤

Somewhere along the lines, this event reignited the love we've had for catering and cooking, and we are opening a few opportunities for YOU to have your own event catered by Team Evo, with your very own customized meal(s).

There are, of course, a few stipulations and details we will need to work out which will fluctuate on a case by case basis, so if you are interested, send us a message with the date and what details you already have and we will get to chatting about the service. 😍

And, I would be amiss if I didn't give a HUGE shoutout to Sierra and Brian for an amazing weekend, and to the Kinzua Heritage Festival site for allowing us to use the amazing outdoor kitchen! Thank you, thank you!!
And also to everyone that spent some time chatting with us, encouraging us to dive back into the catering world. We are ready for it. 😁

As we continue to branch out into sharing knowledge on effective and easy meal prepping, we are starting to share some blog posts to keep providing as much info as we can! 😁

It's just getting started, but we will be adding content in the coming days, weeks, and months.

We know, it's not beautiful yet, but it's informative. And we will work on the aesthetics of the blog as we grow it. 🙃
