Miftaah serves to provide an authentic source of knowledge for people of all background. Our mission is to help preserve this practice of the Prophet SAW and his beloved companions, which is to teach and learn Ilm (knowledge) in a sacred manner. Miftaah's perpetual and continuous goal and objective is to help build men and women in our communities who can se

rve and preserve our sacred religion. At this time and age, perhaps more than ever before, the Ummah is in need of leaders who will not only withhold the knowledge of Qur'an and Hadith, but will live by it and be an example to the society. At Miftaah, we plan to reflect our beloved Prophet SAW's process in our method of teaching and learning. The three step process is:
1) Learn and educate yourself.
2) Protect and preserve your knowledge by acting upon your knowledge.
3) Preach and pass this knowledge on to others.

Some losses change the shape of life forever. For Khabib Nurmagomedov, losing his father meant learning how to carry forward the plans, intentions, and goodness he left behind.

Years later, Khabib found a note his father had written about helping a village with transportation and made that intention a reality. There is something deeply moving about continuing the good someone hoped to do after they are gone. A parent may leave this world, but their values, their niyyah, and the impact they inspired can continue through those they raised.

What will you study in the Associate of Islamic Studies Program?

Over three years, students build a structured foundation in the Islamic sciences—progressing through Arabic, Qur’an, Hadith, Fiqh, Seerah, Aqeedah, Islamic history, and more.

Each year builds upon the last, taking students from foundational study to a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of their Deen.

Classes begin September 13, 2026.

Sometimes the tongue reaches Allah before the heart does.

Don’t wait until you “feel it” to make dhikr, read Qur’an, or make duÊżÄ. Keep your daily connection with Allah non-negotiable. Keep speaking to Him, keep remembering Him, and trust that with consistency, the heart will follow.

1400 years ago, the Prophet Muhammad ï·ș spoke with love about the believers who would come after him.

His legacy continues through the way we represent Islam in our families, schools, workplaces, and communities — by being a positive voice and carrying his message forward.

A beautiful reminder by Shaykh Abdullah Waheed during The Legacy Continues event in New Jersey.
