Thank you, Representative Xiong, for recognizing Jennifer and celebrating the amazing work happening at Frontier! We truly appreciate your support of our students and educators. ❤️📚

This week, I had the honor of recognizing Jennifer Dalal as Michigan’s Charter Hero for August 2026.

Jennifer is a Reading Specialist at Frontier International Academy Elementary in Warren, where she has dedicated herself to helping students build confidence and a love of reading.

With 63% of students learning English as an additional language, the work Jennifer and her team are doing is making a real difference. Their commitment to literacy, supporting families, and making sure every child has the opportunity to succeed is something worth celebrating.

Frontier International Academy was even recognized as one of Michigan’s five “Bright Spots” for achieving literacy results that exceeded expectations.

Congratulations, Jennifer! Thank you for believing in our kids, supporting their families, and showing what’s possible when we invest in our educators and our students. ❤️📚
