2026 US Open Championships in the books.

We had 27 athletes from CBTC travel down to Florida to compete this past weekend. We’re coming home with

9 GOLD MEDALS
3 SILVER MEDALS
11 BRONZE MEDALS

We also had two athletes win awards for Fastest Ippon of the tournament in their respective age categories.

As a coach, I couldn’t be more proud of our athletes. As a team, we worked incredibly hard leading up to this event. I was happy to see the work paying off.

We had over 110 competitors at our 2026 CBTC Youth Judo In House Competition!

Our main goal was to ensure that each kid that competed had as many matches as possible at their level. We also had the referees limit the amount of Shidos given to encourage positive judo.

Although this took a significant amount of work, I’m so grateful for the dojos who came to support and the community we’re all building in the NJ/NY area!

We’re extremely proud of for earning a GOLD MEDAL at the Junior Pan American Championships in Ecuador yesterday.

This result makes Liub a 2x Junior Pan Am Champion. He is also the number 1 ranked Junior in the world!
