Of all things-someone mistakenly thought I was Lola! No, Not because of her so cute smile!! Yesterday I was giving a lecture and trunk showing off my quilts … and a friend said…..” I’ve been following your work for years Bev- your pictorial quilts were hung at Midwest City Library years ago! “
Hmmm.. no…. Not MWC.. ever. After yes-no-yea…. No! Then Ooohhh that was my friend Lola Jenkins!

A priceless compliment!!!

Back in 2013 .. I actually took classes sitting at her dining table!!! She was so awesome, talkative and giving!! Talent like non other.. she even did the NIGHT PRESIDENT FOR Central Oklahoma Quilt Guild hmnnn -so giving in her friendships!

As an artist… SHE SOARED! My heart and our larger Quilt Community misses her! Her time in Northeast OKC was special!!!
