A great meeting to start off the new year! Only one problem....we've outgrown our space! We'll be moving to the Regent's Room for our next meeting. President Lacy Conlan discussed all of the important activities coming up and then passed out nomination forms for the officer positions that need to be filled. Lots of great candidates; proud to see so much interest in being an advocate for the beef industry! We enjoyed hearing from Mr. Jake Lawson, VP of Student Affairs and currently Interim President for Connors State College. Mr. Lawson gave a great welcome to our Collegiate CattleWomen encouraging them on their educational journey and complimenting them on their involvement and leadership on campus and in the field of agriculture.

Mark your calendars, CattleWomen!
We will have a table set up Wednesday, August 19th, at Club Rush in the Student Union from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Then our first CattleWomen meeting will be on that same day at 3:00 p.m. in Russell Hall.
Current members start recruiting new members to come join us at our first meeting of the year. We will be nominating officers for the 2026-2027 school year. There will be lots of food and sweet tea as we meet, greet, and get our new officers in place.
Lacy Conlan, a member of the Connors State Livestock Judging Team, is our President for the 2026-2027 school year. We need ladies to fill the officer positions listed below. You can do this by volunteering for a position or nominating someone you think would be a good candidate for one of the offices. We will hand out nomination forms at the first meeting. Officer positions needed are as follows:

Vice President
Secretary
Reporter
Treasurer
Parliamentarian
SGA Representative
