Join us today in Muskogee for the annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes!

For more than 15 years, Connors State College has participated in this event alongside Women in Safe Home (WISH) to help raise awareness about domestic violence and show support for victims and survivors.

This morning, members of the Connors State College Cross Country team, along with runners from Hilldale, Oktaha and Porter high schools, are making the more than 23-mile relay from Warner to Muskogee in support of this important cause. A few runners will run the 23 miles in its entirety.

Join us at 11:15 a.m. in front of the Muskogee County Courthouse as we walk together to the Muskogee Civic Center, where the program will begin at noon.

Come out and walk with us as we honor survivors, remember victims and stand together against domestic violence.
