✨ Week One at Lighthouse Preschool! ✨

We’ve made new friends, shared lots of smiles and giggles, learned, played, and made so many sweet memories already!

Lighthouse Preschool would like to say a HUGE thank you to all of the Lighthouse Baptist Church volunteers who have given their time and energy to our preschool over the past few weeks!

From holding doors and greeting families to selling T-shirts, helping families take those precious first-day pictures, drying tears, helping students acclimate to their classrooms, serving coffee, mowing the lawn, weed-eating the playground area, and so much more. You have truly been there for us every step of the way!

We have officially finished our first week of preschool, and we can honestly say we could not have pulled it off without our incredible volunteers.

We also want to give a BIG shout-out to our amazing church staff! They have worked tirelessly throughout the summer to help our preschool team get everything completed and ready for the start of the school year. From tackling projects and renovations to jumping in wherever they were needed, so much of their time and effort during their work day went into preparing our preschool area this Summer for the new school year.

This ministry truly takes a village, and we are so thankful for the many people who have helped make Lighthouse Preschool what it is. Whether you completed a project, volunteered your time, brought food, greeted a family, held a door, wiped a tear, served a cup of coffee, or simply showed up to love on someone, please know that you made a difference.

Thank you, Lighthouse Baptist Church, for loving, supporting, and serving our preschool ministry so well.

Our Preschool teachers kicked off Pre-Planning last week with welcome-back meetings and a full day of First Aid, CPR, AED, Choking, and Stop the Bleed training! ❤️

A huge thank you to Josh Humphrey with Wilderness Integrated Leadership Development Training Center for coming out and providing such valuable training for our team. We are proud to share that all of our Preschool staff are now certified through the American Heart Association for the 26-27 school year.

And a big thank you to the members of Lighthouse Baptist Church for helping provide breakfast Monday and Tuesday morning for our staff, and to Courage to Crumbs for the adorable (and delicious!) back-to-school cookies!

Our Lighthouse Preschool staff hit the road bright and early this morning to travel to Woodstock for the Bloom Conference! This is an opportunity for us as a preschool to gather with other local weekday preschools across the state and learn from one another.

Our teachers spent their day investing in their classrooms, their team, and their own professional growth. Throughout the day, they attended breakout sessions filled with new ideas, encouragement, and inspiration for the upcoming school year.

We are so thankful for a team that is committed to learning, growing, and providing the very best experience for the children and families of Lighthouse Preschool. Our teachers are returning home encouraged, recharged, and excited to put into practice many of the things they learned today. 💙
