Our first day at Lake Joy Primary was filled with learning, laughter, new friendships, and so much love. Every teacher and staff member worked together to make sure each child felt safe, cared for, and excited to be here.

Thank you, families, for trusting us with your little ones. We can't wait to make this an amazing year together—one filled with learning, growth, and lots of JOY! 🌟

🎉 What an amazing start to the school year at Lake Joy Primary! 🦁💙

Our halls have been filled with smiling faces, happy hearts, and lots of excitement as families walked their little Lions to class this morning. 💛 The sweet Lion Letters that were written with love and encouragement have been delivered, giving our students an extra reminder that they have a whole team cheering them on.

Our first day is already off to a smooth start! Classrooms are buzzing with fun activities as students are learning routines, practicing expectations, making new friends, and beginning an amazing year together.

We can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow! Here’s to a year full of learning, laughter, growth, and unforgettable memories.

📢 Parents & Guardians: The required Digital Handbook forms for the 2026–2027 school year are now available in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal!

If you haven't already, please take a few minutes to log in from your phone or computer to complete all required handbook acknowledgments. Forms must be submitted by Friday, August 21, 2026, for students to participate in after-school activities and programs.

If your student is new to the District and you do not know their student ID number, you can get it at their Meet & Greet or when they start school on August 4.

Completing these forms early helps us prepare for a smooth start to the school year by ensuring important permissions, services, and student information are in place before classes begin.

Our amazing teachers returned to Opening Session to celebrate and kick off the start to the 2026-2027 school year! We can’t wait to partner with our students, families, and community to make this our best year yet!

Simply drop off your donation at the PTO table during Meet & Greet on July 31st or in the school front office with a ‘PTO’ label anytime throughout the school year.

We are counting down the days until we welcome our Little Lions for an exciting new school year!

Important Dates:

* Tuesday, July 28 – Teachers return and begin preparing for an amazing year. Watch for a phone call from your child’s teacher! Our teachers will be reaching out to personally welcome your family before school begins.

* Pre-K Families: Family Launch Institute Session 2 will be held Wednesday, July 29, from 9:00–10:00 a.m. Please meet us on the playground and check in at your teacher’s tent. This is a drop-in event.

*Meet & Greet
Be sure to join us for our drop-in Meet & Greet on July 31 from 4-6pm! This is the perfect opportunity to:

* Meet your child’s teacher.
* Tour the school.
* Meet our administrators, specials teachers, and support staff.
* Get information about bus routes.
