Today, several teacher leaders from our building joined the admin team at the HCSD Leadership Summit. We reviewed data, set areas of intentional focus for the upcoming school year, and even enjoyed a surprise visit from guest speaker, Gerry Brooks! What a great day! 🐾🩶

The Houston County School Nutrition Program will continue operations this summer, offering meals free of charge to children ages 18 and under. Children do not need to be enrolled in the Houston County School District to receive meals.

There will be three ways for families to participate in the Summer Meals Program. Daily walk-in meal service will be provided at two school locations, vans will serve meals in eligible neighborhoods, and three sites will offer a weekly meal pack pick up service.

📚☀️ Get ready for a summer full of reading adventures! The Houston County School District Summer Bookmobile is rolling into Houston County School District at Lake Joy Primary School bringing hundreds of books, smiles, and fun all summer long! 🚍✨

Join us every Tuesday & Thursday in June from 9 AM–12 PM to borrow books, celebrate reading, and keep those young minds growing all summer long. Open to all HCSD students ages 4–12! 📖💙

Our Lions had the best time today during our annual Field Day! It was a morning filled with laughter, cheering, and incredible displays of sportsmanship from start to finish. 🦁✨

We had a blast watching our students give it their all, showing off amazing teamwork and strength during Tug of War and zooming across the field with speed and determination in the relay races. A huge THANK YOU to our wonderful teachers, staff, and high school volunteers who helped make today run smoothly. Seeing those smiles and all that Lion pride made it all worth it!
