Calling All STEM Mentors & Informal Educators!

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation in STEM? Here's an exciting opportunity to make an impact while contributing to valuable research!

Innovation Research & Training (iRT) is seeking STEM mentors and informal educators who work with students in grades 2–8 through camps, after-school programs, clubs, or other STEM organizations to participate in a research study.

Participants will:
✅ Complete a brief online questionnaire
✅ Participate in online group sessions
✅ Share feedback to help improve STEM mentoring practices

The moment they've been working toward all week!

Students from STARBASE Robins and Kliptown proudly presented their Sustainable Farm Projects before their peers, teachers, and a panel of judges. Through teamwork, creativity, research, and confident presentations, they showcased their knowledge of agriculture and demonstrated the innovative solutions they developed throughout the camp.

We are incredibly proud of each student's hard work, dedication, and growth. Congratulations to all of our presenters for an outstanding job!

From learning where our food comes from to understanding the important role agriculture plays in our daily lives, our students gained valuable knowledge and real-world skills that will stay with them for years to come.

🌱🧬 Day 2 of Agriculture STEM Academy was full of discovery!

Students became young scientists as they extracted DNA from strawberries, explored apple genetics, and got creative by designing their own paper flower pots. Through hands-on activities, campers learned how genetics and agriculture work together to shape the plants and foods we use every day.

Another exciting day of growing knowledge at STARBASE Robins!

🌎🌱 Today, STARBASE Robins students and students from the KLIPTOWN Youth Program in South Africa teamed up for the Journey 2050 simulation, exploring the future of agriculture and sustainability.

Through collaboration and problem-solving, students gained a global perspective on feeding the world and creating innovative agricultural solutions.
