Ms. Chandler’s 1st grade students participated in a fun and engaging Potato Day activity! After reading the book The Couch Potato, students designed & created their own potato pets. Students wrote about what makes their potato pet special & why it should be adopted. This hands-on activity allowed students to connect literature, creativity, and writing while building excitement for learning! 💙🥔
