Beliefs:
The most important job of the school is to meet the educational needs of students. The school is committed to encouraging students to be self motivated and life-long learners. Students must be given opportunities to participate actively in their learning so that they are more likely to make cognitive

connections and experience success. Students learn in different ways; therefore the curriculum and instructional methods should include a variety of teaching strategies. The school provides a safe and nurturing environment of mutual respect, tolerance, and cooperation, which encourages students to develop these virtues. A partnership among the home, school, and the community will inspire a positive attitude toward life and education; this partnership will instill enthusiasm for learning, thereby effectively preparing students to become productive citizens. Students must have their student handbook signed in order to attend. Also, a dismissal tag is required for pickup (this includes walkers).

The schools recognized at today's Board meeting had a decade or more of consecutive perfect health scores.
