🥨🍡 Learning is always sweet in Ms. Hunter’s 1st Grade Class! 🍡🥨

Today, our mathematicians had a sweet and salty place value adventure! Students practiced composing and decomposing two-digit numbers using pretzels to represent the tens and marshmallows to represent the ones.

They built numbers, broke them apart, and strengthened their understanding of place value—all while having a little fun with their food! 📚✨

And the best part? After completing the activity, our hard-working learners got to eat their sweet and salty creations! 😋🥨🍡

Learning + hands-on fun + a tasty treat = a WIN in 1st grade! 💛🐝
