This weekend, the debate team of Aly Watson and Justin Whilby dominated the state championship winning all 9 of thier rounds. Justin was named the top overall speaker and Aly was second. This is HOCOs first state championship in debate since 1993. Ellie Kirkland was named the top freshman in both Impromptu and Dramatic Interpretation, and Mr. Brock was named debate coach of the year.
