In my Advisory Board meeting last week with Bibb County Schools Engineering and CTAE Departments, as a Community Stakeholder we at were charged to activate Curriculum Development. Week 1 with Alexander II we introduced the basics of Computer Coding for 1st grade teachers with Curriculum Development.

I am so excited to share we have taken the steps to build our first Flight Simulator with our partners .
We do this for students like Elijah and Kelsey who started in our Warner Robins Discovery program 2 years ago and have just been invited to the OBAP - Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals ACE Academy heading to Pensacola, Fl. We have been working on this project for 6 months and can not wait to share programming roll out dates. We have a little way to go and will need support to build the lab once the furniture for the room arrives.
Did you all know my first teaching job was a Honors Chemistry and E2020 Credit Recovery Teacher at Northeast High School in Macon… and I was the Girls JV Basketball Coach🥰 The stories I could tell cause I can barely dribble…
