The Landing

Have you ever been reading your Bible and you have to do a double take, like what did I just read? 🤔😳 Yeah, you aren't alone! Reading and understanding the Bible is difficult sometimes. This Thursday at 7pm, The Landing at Southside church, will have Pastor Tucker Hall teaching, "How to break down scripture." This will be a great opportunity for our teens to learn how to understand God's word. Something I feel even adults could benefit from.
Hope you can join us.....

Starts at 7pm- Dinner is provided- bring a friend

Not all plans we make are meant to be. God knows what is coming when we dont. Its ok to be upset that the plans didnt happen but we cant sit it that emotion for long, because God's bigger plan is right around the corner. Be upset today but dust yourself off tomorrow, God's got you back!

Its hard to love Jesus when you dont love yourself. We are all guilty of thinking we are not ENOUGH. Not pretty ENOUGH, not smart ENOUGH, not skinny ENOUGH, just not ENOUGH compared to those around us..... YOU ARE ENOUGH TO HIM! He loves you and to him, you are ENOUGH! Love yourself the way Jesus loves!

If you end up in a burning hell for all eternity, it won't be because you have a tattoo, or because you have a nose ring, or because you drink b**r or smoke ci******es, or because you spent time in prison. It won't be because you didn't do enough good deeds. It won't be because you didn't belong to the right church. It won't be because you belong to the right political party. It won't be because of that dumb thing you did that you don't want anybody to know about. It won't be because of what anyone else did to you.

It will be because you refused to receive Jesus Christ (God the Son) as your personal Savior! HE already paid for all the stupid stuff you have done and all the stupid stuff you are going to do when HE died FOR YOU on the cross and rose again!

HE offers salvation as a FREE GIFT because, let's face it, if it was up to us to earn it, we would have no chance.

The gift of salvation is there for you to receive.

The decision is totally up to you. The price for your sins has been paid, the way to heaven for you has been made.
AMEN
