Our seniors are fundraising for a trip to Washington DC! 💸

Last Friday, the school held a "Soak-a-Senior" event. Almost the whole student body got involved purchasing cups, squirters, buckets, and hoses to inundate them with. Everyone had a blast getting these seniors absolutely drenched! 🌊

The senior class will be hosting more fundraisers throughout the school year, in addition to the current hot lunch fundraisers every Friday. Be on the lookout for upcoming opportunities to support these high schoolers! 👀

We celebrated Grandparents' Day yesterday! 👴🏼👵🏼

Thank you to every grandparent who took time out of their day to spend with the students. (Hard decision, we know 😜) We are grateful for the love you show them and the wisdom you share with them beyond the walls of our school!

Lunch is a place of social gathering at WRCA! Here, you‘ll find kids of all grades, many smiling faces, and even an occasional card game! 😄

It’s also a time we can collectively celebrate birthdays within our WRCA family. Today, we wished Mrs. Becky a happy birthday! 🎉 We are grateful for her vital role in the Christian school office and classroom.

The classrooms are set, the desks are in order, and everyone is officially geared up for Monday! 🍎📓🎒

We had a great morning together as teachers walked their students through orientation, giving everyone a chance to ease into the workflow before school starts next week.

We are grateful for our 55th year of impacting young lives for the Lord Jesus Christ. Please pray for our students and teachers as classes begin on Monday! 🙏🏼

A special thank you to the teachers, parents, and many others who supported these students along the way. Your labor is not in vain!

This past Wednesday, we had a fun-filled Field Day together that was packed with water activities! 💦 Students (and teachers alike) enjoyed the water balloon launchers, the water slide, bucket golf, and several other activities.

(Shoutout to James Driesenga, a senior who caught the most water balloons with his towel, ending the day with a total of seven! 👏🏼)
