This month, we are celebrating our Social Skills Stars who help make our school a place where everyone feels welcomed, included, and valued! Our teachers were asked to recognize one student in their classroom who exemplified the theme of BELONGING. Whether it was welcoming a new student, working cooperatively with peers, showing kindness, or making sure others felt included, these students demonstrated the importance of creating a positive and supportive classroom community.

This week, we continue introducing the newest members of our KFA team! Shane Stone joins our Bucks County Campus as an Instructional Coordinator. Shane studied Culinary Arts at Paul Smith’s College and previously served as a Personal Care Aide in a local public school. In addition to his work at KFA, Shane is the Director of Player Development at Hustle Hoops, bringing extensive expertise in youth mentorship, behavior support, basketball coaching, and program development. His personal mission is to help young people reach their full potential and become confident, disciplined, and successful both in the classroom and in life. Outside of school, Shane loves coaching basketball, training athletes, cooking, and gardening. Welcome, Shane!

This week, we continue introducing the newest members of our KFA team! Amber Spindler joins our Bucks County campus as an Algebra and Biology Teacher. Amber brings over 12 years of teaching experience to KFA, with specific experience working with students experiencing behavioral challenges. She holds a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master's as a Reading Specialist and in Special Education. Her passion is to look beyond a student’s struggles, creating a safe, fun, and caring classroom where students feel seen, heard, and empowered to discover their unique strengths. Outside of school, Amber enjoys gardening, crafts, and she is an animal lover. Welcome, Amber!

This week, we continue introducing the newest members of our KFA team! Daniel Snock to the Keystone Freedom Academy joins our Delaware County Campus as a school counselor. Dan brings 17 years of behavioral health experience to KFA, holding a Master’s in Counseling and Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with a rich background spanning crisis intervention, school-based behavior management, autism program leadership, and public high school mental health counseling. Dan is deeply passionate about building relationships with students and helping them uncover their strengths. Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, coaching youth football, riding his motorcycle, watching sports, and listening to music. Welcome, Dan!

This week, we continue introducing the newest members of our KFA team! Ailene Nolan joins our Delaware County Campus as a Special Education teacher. Ailene brings 12 years of experience in special education, starting as a classroom assistant and serving the last five years as a Behavior Interventionist. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and is completing her Master's to become a BCBA. Her personal mission is to apply her knowledge and skills to her current work, while embracing new challenges. When she’s not working with students, Ailene enjoys reading, strength training, walking, attending sporting events, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. Welcome, Ailene!

A Cleveland native who found her way to PA via Thiel College (holding degrees in Sociology, Psychology, and Criminal Justice), Kayla joins us with a background as a support therapist for youth in special education settings. With a background in political science and education policy, she brings diverse experience teaching ESL, providing behavior therapy, and working in special education.
