East Coast Music & Recording Camp

East Coast Music & Recording Camp Students have a blast developing their skills in Songwriting, Music Recording, Voice-overs and Audio Equipment Operation.

Local GRAMMY winning music producer and Parent’s Choice Award winner, Jim Cravero, created this recording camp because he realized how important it is for children to be able to pursue their dreams of working in the music industry. This one-of-a-kind camp is designed to offer students a different and exciting experience each day by introducing them to the amazing world of the music industry. Stude

nts can do it all or choose their area of interest. They can create their very own songs and voice scripts and work interchangeably as both talent and/or crew on fun projects such as Voice Commercials, TV/Radio Announcements and even recording their very own hit song! It isn’t often that a child can say they had a hand in fully producing a song from start to finish and have a copy of that song to share with friends and family for years to come. Students will receive one audio CD at the end of the course that contains all of their class recordings - Musical Project, Voice-Overs, etc.

This one-of-a-kind camp designed by a GRAMMY award winning music producer and two-time Parent's Choice Gold winner offers campers an actual recording studio experience by introducing them to the amazing world of the music industry. Campers will have a blast developing their skills in Songwriting, Music Recording, Voice-overs and Audio Equipment Operation. Campers can work interchangeably as talent and/or crew, behind the scenes or behind the microphone. They'll learn vocal warm up routines, perform voice-overs and tv/radio announcements, have a blast singing karaoke to their favorite songs, and the best part is they will have the unique opportunity to create their very own song from start to finish and record it live! It isn’t often that a child can say they had a hand in fully producing a song from beginning to end and have a copy of that song to share with friends and family for years to come.
Campers will receive one professionally edited audio CD that contains all of their camp recordings for the week.
