I hope that everyone had a great day! I can't wait to see the kids in their class shirts at Move Up Day!
I want to take the time to express my gratitude for an amazing 5 years.
To the teachers, especially the 5th grade teachers. You have been amazing to work with and have given this class so many outstanding memories while preparing them to transition to middle school.
To Mr. Ortiz and Mr. VanBuren who come with energy and enthusiasm and who have fostered a great balance between learning and having fun in school.
To Donna, Sue and the office staff who always come through with anything that I have asked for and always have the time to help.
To Craig and the building staff, from set up to clean up and everything in between. They keep McDonald running smoothly.
To the parents, especially the 5th grade committee members, who have ran an event, helped at an event, supported an event, no contribution is to small. We would not have been able to celebrate this milestone without all of your support.
It truly takes a village and I am so grateful to have been a part of this village. Even as a parent, I have made great friendships through my years at McDonald. I can't believe it is time to leave.
