Good evening everybody. I just spent the long weekend enjoying Maine with my family. Going to Maine has been one of my favorite things for over 20 years now. Walking the beach for sea glass is my number one thing to do. Collecting heart shaped rocks, wishing stones, small pieces of driftwood, pieces of old pottery, and marbles. Lots of memories in the last 20 plus years.
Tonight I want to say thank you to all who have registered for the Salem Cross hookin on Nov. 3. I’ve had a great response and it will be great to see all of you. For those who have been in the past you know bringing a light is a good thing but I will have lights plugged in on a number of tables. The doors will not open until 8:45 so please understand we will be busy and your patience until 8:45 will be greatly appreciated. When you come in you will get your name tag and there will be girls to tell you where to go and help anyone with their hooking equipment. Once you pick your seat you can get a cup of coffee, tea or apple c***r and some pastries to enjoy and maybe visit with others who have come. At 10:00 vendors will open (earlier if their setup is ready). At noon we move to the barn for a wonderful lunch and door prizes will be awarded. After lunch you can get back to your hooking and the day ends at 3:00. Let’s all hope for good weather. Below I posted some pictures of Salem Cross for those who haven’t been to the Inn.
