While the air quality has improved since yesterday, not everyone is having fun being outside today.

We're still holding our monthly Community Cookout today at 5pm, but we will be setting up tables inside to eat. We have the grill set up on the back lawn for anyone who would like to use it (the Library will be providing hotdogs!) and a couple small tents and tables for those who do want to be outside, but offering an air conditioned inside space as well.

Stop by and see your neighbors, have a bite, and maybe check out a book!

It's hot out there and getting hotter!

Don't forget that your local library is a great resource on days like this. Come in to sit in the air conditioning, get a cold cup of water, use the free WIFI, and browse our collection of books and magazines or check out the VINS live eagle cam on the big screen.

Or come help us finish our community puzzle! We've been working on this very beautiful, very tricky one since January and maybe this is the week it gets completed!

The Library is open Tues and Wed 10-5, Thur 2-7 and Sat 10-2. We will be closed this Saturday for the 4th of July but you can see us in the parade, at the Library Book Sale, or selling tickets for the 11th annual Duck Race!
