🚌 Warden School District Bus Routes Are Now Available! Families can now view bus route information for the 2026-27 school year on the district website: https://www.warden.wednet.edu/bus-routes

With the first day of school tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 2, we encourage families who use district transportation to review their route information ahead of time.

Do you need to connect to the internet? The library has you covered, with a FREE wi-fi zone that covers a 600-foot radius surrounding the building. So the wi-fi is always available, whether the library is open or not. No password required.

School Bus Safety Reminder!

With the first day of school just around the corner, buses will be back on the road, please help keep our students safe by knowing when to stop for a school bus.

In Washington:
🔴 On a two-lane road, drivers traveling in both directions must stop when a school bus has flashing red lights or its stop sign extended.
🔴 On roads with three or more marked lanes, drivers traveling in the opposite direction do not have to stop — but drivers traveling in the same direction as the bus always must stop.
🔴 Drivers who illegally pass a stopped school bus face a mandatory $500 fine.

Even after the lights stop flashing and the stop sign is retracted, continue watching carefully for students who may be crossing or walking along the roadway.

Please drive with patience and caution around our buses and bus stops. When in doubt, stop!

WARDEN STUDENT-ATHLETE CHECKLIST & REMINDERS

Attention Warden athletes and families! All requirements must be completed by the deadlines below in order to participate in Warden School District athletics.

1. Sports Physical — REQUIRED BEFORE ANY PARTICIPATION
✅ A current sports physical exam must be submitted and on file.
This is an absolute requirement: Students may not participate in practices, tryouts or conditioning until a valid physical is on file.

2. Parent Athletic Forms — DUE BEFORE FIRST PRACTICE
✅ All required online parent athletic forms must be completed and signed before the first practice.
Once everything is complete, the online system will display a confirmation message letting you know you’re finished.

3. ASB Card — DUE BEFORE FIRST GAME
✅ ASB Card fee: $25
💵 Payment: Cash or check only
The ASB Card must be paid in full before the student’s first game or contest.

4. Student Forms — DUE BY THE END OF THE FIRST WEEK
✅ Students must turn in their signed Athletic Agreement and Code of Conduct forms by the end of the first week of school.
