Today is National Farmers Day, a time to recognize the farmers who work tirelessly to feed, clothe and fuel our communities.

From early mornings to long days in the field, farmers show us what hard work, dedication and resilience look like. Their work is an important part of agriculture and the future we’re helping prepare through agricultural education.

Today, we’re grateful for the farmers who keep Missouri agriculture growing.

Thank you, farmers, for all you do!

After a few years of hosting our annual Senior Auction online, we are back IN PERSON!

And you know what that means… North Pemiscot’s traditional ham and beans meal before the auction is BACK — and, in our opinion, better than ever! ❤️🖤

Ham & Bean Supper — 5:00 PM
Auction — 7:00 PM

Join us for a delicious meal, a fun night of bidding, and most importantly, a chance to support our small but mighty Class of 2027!

All proceeds from the meal and auction will go toward the Senior Class Trip to DISNEY!

Ticket sales begin Friday!
Get a ticket for yourself, bring your family and let North Pemiscot’s ham and bean supper be your meal plan for the night. Then get ready to BID, BID, BID!

Now that the float has been judged here are some pictures of the students working in the shop the last couple weeks. Most of the items you see are items being built for the senior class auction November 7, this will be a live auction this year. The students are working hard for the return to a live auction and you will not want to miss it!

Cheyanne decided with a week left that she wanted to do 2 weeks work and build a complex fire pit. She did great as always! She is going to make the best Ag teacher one day I am very proud of her!

Big thanks to Greenpoint Ag, Deering, MO ADAMA US, Nufarm US Crop Protection this is the last application of the year. Second round of defoliant and bole opener. Greenpoint Ag, Deering, MO has done 10 spray applications and one fertilizer application this year in total they have been a great partner! Also a huge shout out to Jason Roberts for scouting for us and helping me navigate this season, he has been great at adjusting on the fly depending on what I had donated.

As we close out this growing season I am already getting offers for help on next season. Yesterday I received confirmation of 30 gallons of chemical from Albaugh. These chemicals happen to be a few that we ran short on this year. We look forward to a future with our current partners and new ones added. I can’t thank the agriculture community enough for all of the help they have been for my students!
