🚒🔥 Fire Safety Week at Ward Central! 🔥🚒

We've had some very special visitors this week! Our friends from the Ward Fire Department have been stopping by to teach our Panthers all about fire safety! 🐾❤️

From learning how to stay safe in an emergency to understanding the important work firefighters do in our community, our students have been getting some valuable lessons!

A HUGE thank you to the Ward Fire Department for taking time out of their busy schedules to invest in our students. We are so grateful for our local heroes who work hard to keep our community safe! ❤️🚒

Our Panthers are fired up about fire safety! 🔥🐾

🍧 Hard work never tasted so sweet!

Our 4th graders enjoyed a well-deserved snow cone treat after giving it their all on their recent interim assessments! We love celebrating students who work hard, stay focused, and give their best effort.

Sweet treats for some pretty sweet success! We are Panther Proud! 🐾❤️

📏✨ Measuring Our Way Through Math! ✨📏

Students in Mrs. Leache’s class took to the halls for a hands-on exploration of measurement concepts. They practiced measuring, compared lengths, and applied their math skills in a real-world setting.

Learning math was even more fun when it meant exploring the school! 📐📚

🔦✨ Shining a Light on STEM! ✨🔦

Mrs. Bunting’s first graders had a blast exploring light and shadows during their STEM lab! Students experimented with how to make shadows larger and smaller by changing the position of the light and objects.

They also investigated how light travels through different materials as they explored opaque, translucent, and transparent objects. 🔍💡

Hands-on learning, experimenting, and discovering—these first graders were shining bright today! 🌟
