WJHS PTA had a great school year celebrating our students and teachers 🎉🎈✨️
We are looking for dedicated officers to fill 🗳 the Vice President and Secretary positions.
New members are wanted as well.

🎈📢MOVING UP CEREMONY INSTRUCTIONS:

Our Moving Up Ceremonies will be Thursday June 15th.

Session 1 - Students Last Names A to L - 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
Students should arrive no earlier than 4:15 pm.

Session 2 - Students Last Names M to Z - 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
Students should arrive no earlier than 5:45 pm.

Students must go home on their regular buses at dismissal. No student is allowed to stay after school.

STUDENTS NEED TO BE IN ATTENDANCE AT SCHOOL ON THIS DATE IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CEREMONIES.

Students must dress appropriately for this event.

Parents please follow parking directions upon arrival at the school. There will be police officers, safety officers and building staff outside to direct parents as to where you must park your vehicles.

Students will be directed to go to a designated classroom to line up and wait for the ceremonies to begin. Staff will be in each room to give students an index card with their name on it.

Students will enter the auditorium and sit alphabetically in the reserved center seats.

When announced, one row at a time, students will stand and walk up to the stage. Students will hand their index card to the administrator who will announce their name. Students will walk across the stage to be acknowledged by District administration and Board of Education members. Students will walk off the stage and return to their seats for the completion of the ceremonies.

Mr. Thompson will make an announcement at the end of the ceremony for students to exit the auditorium and proceed down the Main Office hallway and enter the gym. This is where they will receive their moving up certificates. Parents will be instructed to remain in the auditorium. Students will exit the gym thru the lobby and meet up with their parents and then exit the building.

For the parents who weren't able to pick up their lawn signs last evening, please pick it up in the main office by Thursday, June 8th.

For those who ordered banners, the company will deliver the banner to the address in your order. Please refer to their email.
