Five Star Learning is a private tutoring service that will meet all of your needs. My experience has crossed many subject areas and grade levels. I am certified to teach both general education and special education. I taught in New York City for many years before home-schooling my own three children. I now substitute teach, home instruct in two local districts where I have also done long term assi
gnments and tutor privately. I have taught Foreign Language for children and adults for a local Language Center. My teaching history includes all elementary subjects, as well as, middle school and high school english, math, foreign language and history. I have instructed general, special needs and ESL classes and prepared students for both RCT and Regents exams. I also have experience with the Common Core curriculum. I welcome students of all ages, including adults. My special education background has afforded me the ability to easily tailor my teaching approach to fit any student’s needs and I will construct a personal educational plan to target and help meet your goals.
