Parents,
We have been made aware that the main YMCA will be closing for sometime due to issues with their facility because of the wind. Our facility is however doing fine and we are remaining open. Everyone is safe and remaining inside.

Wapakoneta Family Y message;
YMCA CLOSED!! The entire YMCA facility is closed. Due to the high winds, there is extensive damage to our facility and out of an abundance of caution we need the entire CAMPUS to be closed. This does not affect the CDC.

🚨 Snow Emergency Closure Notice 🚨

Auglaize County is currently under a Level 3 Snow Emergency and will not be evaluated until 9 am. Due to these conditions, the Wapakoneta Family YMCA will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. This includes our Child Care programs at the YMCA and the Wapakoneta Child Development Center.

This closure includes all YMCA programs, classes, and all child care programs.

The safety of our members, families, and staff is always our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and encourage everyone to stay off the roads and stay safe.
