The Auglaize County Junior Fair “Shine in the Show Ring” Show gave individuals with special needs a wonderful opportunity to experience the excitement of the show ring and proudly show an animal of their choice at the Auglaize County Fair!

This year’s participants had the opportunity to show a variety of animals, including pigs, cows, sheep, goats, chickens, and rabbits.

Amy Becher, Auglaize County ESC Special Education Director, had the privilege of serving as the judge for this special event!

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make the “Shine in the Show Ring” show possible. Your time, dedication, encouragement, and support provide these wonderful individuals with the opportunity to participate, build confidence, make memories, and most importantly—shine!

Intervention Specialist Teaching Position
Auglaize County Educational Service Center

The Auglaize County Educational Service Center (ESC) is seeking a full-time Intervention Specialist to serve in a classroom located at the Auglaize County ESC in Wapakoneta, Ohio.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
Provide high-quality academic and social-emotional instruction.
* Support students in developing social, behavioral, and communication skills.
* Collaborate with families, related service providers, and school staff to meet students' individual needs.
* Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring.

Qualifications:

* Hold a valid Ohio Intervention Specialist teaching license issued by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW), or be willing to obtain an alternative resident educator license.
* Successfully pass BCI and FBI background checks.
