How do you respond to being stuck on practice questions?

Some students are able to reason through it, while others might be more prone to give up right away. I'd encourage you to find a balance! Work it out a bit, but don't get so hyper-focused that you lose time that you could be spending on other problems that you do understand.

Keep an eye out for this College Board strategy!

There's a very common trap the SAT makers use in the reading section. They'll make a very reasonable assertion — something that's totally true — but it throws students off because the passage was never actually mentioned the statement!

High school students taking the SAT who rely on their own intelligence or skills learned in school are often shocked and disappointed on test day.

Why? Doesn't school prepare students for the exam? 🤔
